“Berehynia (2)” is a Ukrainian linen dress made of white linen cloth by DNK Natsii (ДНК Нації), a Ukrainian brand that designs and sews vyshyvankas in Ukraine. The embroidery is done by machine in cross-stitch.
A white Ukrainian linen dress that carries the Lviv tradition into modern life. With its loose fit and embroidered belt, it can also be worn as a white Ukrainian embroidered dress for a wedding or a christening.
The ornament of “Berehynia” is recreated from an antique shirt from the Lviv region: an ancient pattern that guarded the family and carried symbols of love and protection.
