“Desna (4)” is a vyshyvanka women’s blouse made of black linen-cotton by DNK Natsii (ДНК Нації), a Ukrainian brand that designs and sews vyshyvankas in Ukraine. The satin-stitch ornament is recreated from an antique shirt of the Chernihiv region (Eastern Polissia). Black linen-cotton gives the embroidery depth and makes the shirt easy to pair with both a skirt and trousers.
