“Verkhovynka” is a Ukrainian embroidered dress made of milky-white handwoven-style cloth (cotton) by DNK Natsii (ДНК Нації), a Ukrainian brand that designs and sews vyshyvankas in Ukraine. The embroidery is done by machine in cross-stitch and satin stitch.
A Ukrainian embroidered dress inspired by the Carpathians and their colours. Milky-white handwoven-style cotton, a traditional raglan cut and a neckline trimmed with tassels give it an authentic, festive look.
The ornament of “Verkhovynka” is recreated from the motifs of an antique shirt from the Hutsul region (Hutsulshchyna), worked in cross-stitch and satin stitch. Pictured: the dress with sash No. 7.
The set includes a solid-colour sash (kraika) of your choice and an underskirt in your size for a complete look. Choose the sash colour from the last photo and mention it in the order comment.
